The Department of Library and Information Science, Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University was established in 2017 to provide professional education and training in the discipline of Library and Information Science. Library and Information is a long-standing academic discipline, with its own set of theories, perspective and methods. The department prepares individuals for positions of responsibility in the field of library and information service and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
