The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University (RBBSU), Dehradun, is a dynamic platform for students to engage in community service, fostering a sense of social responsibility and ethical awareness. Established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, the NSS Unit at our university plays an essential role in shaping students into responsible and compassionate citizens who actively contribute to nation-building.
Objectives of NSS:
- To develop a sense of social responsibility and community service among students.
- To foster awareness about the importance of social welfare and selfless service to the community.
- To promote leadership, discipline, and a commitment to helping society through volunteerism.
- To provide opportunities for students to experience the realities of rural and urban life and contribute to sustainable development.

Key Activities of NSS:
