The college offers the B.Ed and M.A. (Education) programme of a duration of two academic years affiliated to Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand and approved by NCTE.
BACHELOR’S OF EDUCATION (B.Ed.) & MASTER OF EDUCATION (M.A.) PROGRAMME
Eligibility for Admission:-
Bachelor Degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from any recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate for General and O.B.C. candidates and 45% marks for S.C. & S.T. candidates. Admissions are given on merit basis and rules framed by the state government, Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand & N.C.T.E.
Duration of Programme:-
The B.Ed and M.A. (Education) programme is of two years duration (200 working days per year exclusive of the period of admission and examinations).
Medium of Instruction:-
The medium of instruction is English and Hindi for the courses.
Co-Curricular Activities:-
India is a land of rich heritage, culture and festivities. The Faculty of Education, celebrates all the festivals together and organizes various co-curricular and creative activities for aesthetic sensibilities. The college lays emphasis on games and sports throughout the academic year and organizes sports day, promoting sportsmanship and healthy competition.
Literary Activities:-
The literary activities are a channelized effort to bring out the hidden talent of the teacher trainees and to boost their morality and enhancing the character so that they can contribute to be the role models for many by their rainbow persona; The Faculty of Education conducts several activities like debates, slogan writing, essay competition, seminars, quiz, extempore and workshop to luster the teacher trainees personality. Practicum prescribed along with the curriculum is also an essential part of the activities.
