Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC)

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) has been constituted at RBBSU to ensure equal access to education and facilities for all students, particularly for those from underprivileged, marginalized, or differently-abled backgrounds. The EOC works towards fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and everyone has an opportunity to succeed.
Objectives of the Equal Opportunity Cell:

  • To ensure equal opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds, including economically weaker sections, minority communities, and students with disabilities.
  • To raise awareness about equality, diversity, and inclusivity in educational institutions.
  • To provide academic support, financial assistance, and counseling to students facing challenges due to their socio-economic status, disability, or any other factors.
  • To monitor the implementation of equal opportunity policies and provide timely feedback to improve the system.

Key Responsibilities of the EOC:

  • To facilitate equal access to resources, opportunities, and support services for students from all backgrounds.
  • To help students from marginalized communities (such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS) in the application for scholarships and financial assistance.
  • To assist students with disabilities by ensuring the provision of necessary accommodations, like special exam arrangements and infrastructure support.
  • To organize workshops, seminars, and awareness programs on topics related to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities in education.
